Our TV remote operates like an Apple TV remote: Use the arrows or touchpad (depending on your remote model) to navigate up-and-down or left-to-right to select your favorite TV stations, apps, or other content. Press the select button (or click the touchpad) to choose a highlighted item. Use the menu button to go back or exit any selection.

To activate Apple TV and stream your favorite apps like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Video, HBO Max, Disney+, Apple TV+, YouTube, Showtime, and more, select the Apple TV icon from the main menu or navigate to the desired app. Log in to activate your account or download your favorite app from the App Store and start streaming.

Forgot your password? No problem. For Apple users, we also support AirPlay to stream directly from your iOS device to the TV. Simply activate the app on your iOS device, tap the AirPlay icon, and select your Apple TV to start streaming.

All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and heating. The thermostat on the wall in your room can easily be adjusted to suit your personal comfort — simply touch the on/off button to operate and wait for the touchpad to illuminate. Late check out fees may apply. If you check out or leave before your scheduled departure date, there is a fee of one night’s stay plus tax.

Austin Proper is a non-smoking hotel. Therefore, smoking is not allowed in any public areas such as the pool, food and beverage outlets or guest rooms. A smoking cleaning fee of $400 will be assessed in the event smoking does occur in the guest rooms.

We love your furry friends and they are definitely welcome at Austin Proper Hotel. With every pet stay, Proper will help a pet in need. 10% of your pet fee gets donated to our local no-kill shelter, Austin Pet’s Alive. Please contact the front desk if you need a sitter.
