We met up with Kimber Jenkins of the influencer marketing agency StyleHaul during her most recent stay at San Francisco Proper and asked her 8 questions about her life and where she sees influencer marketing heading towards in the future. These are #ProperStories.

What do you for a living?

I am the Marketing Associate at StyleHaul, an influencer marketing agency.

What does a normal day look like for you?

My day starts at 5am, I go to my HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) class every morning, have a coffee, watch the Today Show and get ready for work. I am normally bustling at work all day with meetings and projects were working on. The normal day, is mostly consumed with my day to day at StyleHaul, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

As you travel a lot, what are your top 3 ‘must haves’ when traveling?

SPOTIFY!, slip eye mask, and the Pixi H20 Glo Mask

Where do you see influencer marketing heading towards in the future?

I see influencer marketing headed towards more elevated experiential activations. Creators are looking towards more and more unique, diverse experiences. They want and expect more, so brands are evolving and changing to accommodate the demand. It’s super exciting to see what everyone comes out with since everyone is trying to make a splash. Things are getting interesting!

What is your favorite social media platform?

Tumblr, to be honest. But Instagram because if I didn’t say that, does it even matter?

What is one activation that you planned that you enjoyed the most?

Through StyleHaul, we’ve created beach + winter “hauliday” experiences where we take creators on elaborate and inclusive vacations to premier destinations including Costa Rica, Lake Tahoe, and St. Thomas. These trips are amazing and breathtaking, the content we’ve seen produced from these experiences is unbelievable and makes the entire project a major success.

What are you currently listening to on your playlist?

Currently on repeat: “My My My” – Troye Sivan and “rely” – florsounds.

What is your favorite thing to do in your hotel room?

Order room service 🙂
