Come Home To The Collective

The Collective is a curation of independent, design-driven boutique hotels from the team behind Proper Hospitality, which designs, brands, and operates high-end lifestyle hospitality experiences under the Proper brand, Hotel June brand, and The Collective curation of independent brands. Beyond a collection of hotels, the properties within the Collective are each immersive, inspired experiences characterized by timeless architecture, distinct design, and a reverence for original artistry and craft.

The Culver Hotel

A neighborhood beacon for the new energy coursing through downtown Culver City, The Culver Hotel resides in a beloved nationally landmarked flatiron building that was built in 1924 by the city’s pioneer of lavish Beaux-Arts architecture, Curlett and Beelman and free spirited Culver Studio owner, Harry H. Culver. Inspired by the city and building’s past, the interiors reflect a warm, romantic approach to the design of the 46-room hotel by combining a happy pastiche of deep colors, rich textures, classic design pieces, rare vintage furniture, and local artworks from emerging talent. The hotel’s restaurant and speakeasy have a strong connection to the pulse of the community.
