Day One: Arrive in LA

Getting here is simple—Uber from LAX drops you right at the front entrance on South Broadway, a smooth ride with no rental car to worry about. Valet parking is available at the entrance if you’re driving in.

4 PM – Happy Hour at Cabrillo 

Cabrillo, the ground-floor café and bar, shifts to a wine bar by late afternoon. Craft cocktails, curated wines, and small bites beneath a Judson Studios stained glass installation. The space also functions as one of the hotel’s meeting rooms in Los Angeles, available for private events and buyouts.

7:30 PM – Dinner at Bestia or Cara Cara Rooftop

Bestia brings Michelin-guide energy to the Arts District with bold, rustic Italian cooking in a lively industrial setting. Day Two: Meetings and Meals

7:30 AM – Breakfast at Cabrillo

Cabrillo opens at 7:00 AM daily with fresh-pressed juices, locally roasted coffee, and California-style breakfasts. Or get breakfast delivered straight to you with our in-room dining option featuring thoughtfully composed dishes that emphasize freshness, consistency, and bold, seasonal flavor.

9 AM – Convention Center and Meetings

Head out to the LA Convention Center, about a 15-minute walk from the Downtown LA Proper Hotel. As one of the most walkable LA Convention Center hotels in the area, the Proper keeps you close without the L.A. Live corridor congestion. After a busy day of meetings and events, head to Cara Cara. Proper hosts weekly vinyl DJ nights curated by Daisy O’Dell. Catch these live sessions every Thursday and Friday from 5-8 pm.

7 PM – Lakers Game at Crypto.com Arena
