Large Party FAQs

Do we really need to do a price-fixed menu?

Yes, we require a price-fixed menu for parties larger than 8 guests to ensure a smooth service for all our guests. We offer several prix-fixe options, served family style, at $100 pp.

How long do I have my table for?

Your table is reserved for 2 ½ hours.

Why do I need to fill out a contract and credit card authorization form?

The contract secures your reservation and includes information about your reservation details. The credit card provided also confirms your reservation. Nothing is charged to the credit card provided at the time of booking and you may pay with a different card at the time of your reservation.

Do you split checks?

We only accept one form of final payment for large parties on the day of your reservation.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that plans do change, and we ask for 24 hours’ notice, otherwise we do charge a $25 pp no show fee. If your party decreases in size, you will not be charged for the people who do not show up.

What if I have over 25 people in my group?

Groups larger that 25 guests can contact our sales team at smp.sales@properhotel.com for further information regarding pricing and availability.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

We offer vegan and vegetarian menu items and with advance notice we can accommodate most dietary requests.

What is your corkage fee?

$35 per 750 ml bottle corkage fee for any outside bottle brought into the restaurant, with a bottle maximum of 2 per group.

Can I bring decorations for the table?

Unfortunately, we are not able to allow decorations for non-private events; including balloons, table dressings and flowers.

Can I bring my own dessert?

Guests are welcome to brin their own dessert to be served in addition to their menus.  We charge $5 per person for any outside dessert brought into the restaurant should you wish to have it served by our staff.

What if I have kids? Do they need to eat off the set menu?

We waive the fee for children and offer a kid’s menu from which they can order a la carte.

Can I request a specific table?

We cannot guarantee specific table assignments though we do try our best to accommodate all requests.

Can I move tables together to have my larger group seated together?

Unfortunately, due to the variety of table sizes we have in the restaurant we cannot push tables together. We do have larger tables adjacent to each other so your group will not be separated when dining with us.
