Proper Presents is the hotel’s curated series of rooftop sunset DJs, live music, wellness activations, and special dining events-designed to create a dynamic and immersive social experience for locals and guests alike.

Events include weekly rooftop DJ sets at sunset with cocktails and light bites, along with themed wellness classes, pop-up dinners, live performances, and cultural collaborations.

Most happenings are open to everyone-hotel guests, Proper Presents members, and local visitors. Select events may be members-only or invite-only, as noted in individual event details on the Happenings page.

Events are typically hosted on the scenic rooftop at Cara Cara with sweeping skyline views. Some activations also take place in the hotel’s indoor event spaces or lounges.

Yes-rooftop events often require advance RSVP or reservations, especially during high-demand sunset hours when space is limited.
