NEIGHBORHOOD RESTAURANT, DESTINATION DINING

A sophisticated gathering point for dynamic Mid-Market, Villon is dressed in Kelly Wearstler’s award-winning, dramatic design influenced by pre-Modernist styles. Here, chef Mikey Adams’ hyper-seasonal menu reflects twists on S.F.’s culinary culture and bounty. In our art-filled lobby salon, don’t miss an original libation from BVHospitality’s “7×7” cocktail anthology, in homage to San Francisco’s seven-by-seven-mile area.

La Bande

A CAFE FOR ALL STRIPES

Get into the rhythms of the neighborhood at La Bande, our “new fashioned” cafe and market. In the light-strewn space encased in green glazed tiles and black-and-white stripes, Counter Culture cappuccinos are always poured right, and house-made hand pies and tartines beckon from the pastry case. In the evening, drop by for curated provisions and a bottle of Napa red to go, or savor a craft beer as you mingle with friends old and new around communal tables.

Chef Mikey Adams

Chef Mikey Adams was born in Santa Cruz and spent much of his childhood moving around California before pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology major at Lee University in Tennessee. Adams later continued his studies in Edinburgh, Scotland where he found time to work in a handful of kitchens, including The Tower Restaurant, where he decided to make cooking his career. Stateside, Chef Adams worked under Douglas Keene and Kolin Vazzoler at Shimo Modern Steak in Healdsburg as well as Central Kitchen in San Francisco. Now at the helm of Villon, Charmaine’s and La Bande Chef Adams channels his penchant for local ingredients and twists on classics, with a creative menu of California staples for the all-day restaurant, rooftop bar, and café, as well as in-room dining service.
